Desert Cactus in the night
This is part of the cacti series of collages I've created using Mixed Media of acrylic paint, magazine pages on black paper.
The stark contrast of the silhouetted cactus and the scorched earth still warm from the heat of the sun, gives it an almost lunarscape or martian quality.
