This collage was created using vintage book pages, magazine cut outs and repurposed paintings. The play on shape and colour has created this utopian view of a city from the rooftops.

 

Torn edges, circular shapes and sharp angles add a certain tension to the piece. The negative space is as equally important as the shape and form themselves and adds drama to the overall image.
